Location

Srimushnam is situated in the western part of the taluks of Chidambaram in the Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu in the southern part of Bharat. It is about 24 miles west of Chidabaram station on the main line of the Southern Railway; it is about 12 miles south - east of Vridhachalam, a railway junction on the chord line; and it is about forty miles from Cuddalore, the head quarters of the district of Cuddalore. It is easy of access from any of these three places by bus or by taxi. The roads leading to it are motorable.There are rest houses for pilgrims and hotel facilities at Srimushnam.
